    Re: Go Hogs Go!

it'll be Michigan again. They will pitch the argument, it's not their fault that their season is shorter, and the fact they were ahead of Florida going into this week, and they didn't lose, so they should still be ahead.

it's pretty much dead on with the bowl games

    Re: Go Hogs Go!

While i personally think LSU is the best SEC team, they didn't prove it against Florida.(at least on the scoreboard)
....And with the exception of Texas (3 losses) and ND (2 losses) and a commander and chiefs trophy. Neither Ohio St. or Michigan have beaten anyone worth mentioning outside the Big 10. So it really is conjecture whether or not so and so can beat so and so if they don't play. At least the SEC plays each other, unlike Ohio St. not even playing Wisconsin.

Only thing I see different there is if Rutgers wins tonight, Louisville finishes in the top 6 in the bcs, plus Rutgers gets the automatic bid which would leave Notre Dame out of the BCS games.

Of course, Notre Dame really doesnt deserve to be in a BCS game but thats for another thread.

Yep, unless they play on the field you can't say who would win. But we do know that OSU did beat Michigan. Time for another.

I agree with you, i personally really enjoyed the game, but OSU won, and if you replay and Michigan wins, why in the world would that count for more than a win by OSU the first time. They would have the same record. I hope it does happen! maybe they will fix the system.

    Re: Go Hogs Go!

However if you look at Wisconsin's schedule, they havent beaten anyone either so its a mute point. You play who you play. Michigan LOOKS like they are better than Florida. Anything could happen, given a month to prepare. In the end, I dont think its really going to matter. I believe the asterisks are the best team in college football and will probably win the national title with an undefeated season.

Ive watched florida alot lately, they couldnt cover Carr, Davis, and Fagg so I just think Ginn, Gonzalez, Robinski, etc would have BIG days. Then Pittman and Wells would get going. If anyone can beat Ohio State, I believe its Michigan.

UF beat Vandy by 6. UM beat Vandy by 20.

No team led by Christy 'Slide' Leak deserves to play in anything but the Outhouse Bowl.

I don't think Louisville will get the BCS bid. It will be between them and LSU to who gets a BCS game.
Notre Dame will get in, they have a huge fan base. The more people that watch the game, the more money that bowl game makes.

    Re: Go Hogs Go!

i saw both games! (at least some of both games) and it is so hard to compare scores. I actually see both points. As a fan, personally i would hate to see a rematch. I just am not interested.
